We are happy to have the first Streaming release on Bleak, this one is from Need, pretty much US here, at least one half of the band is Bernhard “Bleak” Hansbauer.

Need is the project of Bleak’s own Bernhard Hansbauer, together with Chris Hauer, who just released their first EP of alternative / darkwave material – To Look Time In The Eye – and here we release its companion, the Remixes EP, containing the same tracks but in a minimalistic, rough and more distorted way. Enjoy the tracks and listen to the original EP. Here’s a teaser of the first track, Turn Around.

Our first release in 2025 will be by Imagine Enigmas‘ experimental album “Sinnlich Übersinnlich“.
The album embodies the multi-layered artistic philosophy of the Liceo Ocultural project, where identities and pseudonyms become a playful critique of perception and authenticity.
Sinnlich Übersinnlich to be released in April 2025.

Dear artists, Bleak is happy to receive your demos for distribution here as digital download, and to be featured on the Bleak Radio.
What we need for this are your actual tracks as mp3, best would be to link it in your message to us, use the contact form below to send us links to it.
Please refrain from linking to .zip archives, it’s a bit too risky for us to open arbitrary files.
We have added a bunch of Bleak Shirts, using the nice and easy webshop thing from Spreadshirt.
There are a couple of great motives to choose from, and of course the Bleak logo.
It’s not that expensive, quality is usually quite good, and while we don’t earn much with it, it helps!
